GOV. DEWINE ANNOUNCES STATEWIDE MASK MANDATE
This Thursday, July 23 at 6 p.m., Ohio residents statewide will be required to wear facial coverings when out in public.
Gov. DeWine announced the new statewide mandate during his press conference today. Ohio is reporting 78,742 cases of coronavirus and 3,235 deaths as of Wednesday afternoon.
Currently, over one-fifth of Ohio counties and approximately 60% of the state’s population are already under a mask mandate.
There are some exceptions to the mask order including individuals under 10, individuals with a medical condition or disability, individuals who are exercising and individuals who are eating and drinking.
